Print Dresses African style – at Natural Hair & Lifestyle Expo
Whoa! I had so much fun at Natural Hair& Lifestyle Expo 2016 (#NHLE2016) there was so much to enjoy, The biggest highlight for me was getting the opportunity to show off our
NEW print dresses and designs in contemporary African print dresses to you, the MamMaw customer, you were happy to learn that our African dresses are available in sizes 8 to 18, this put a smile on a few customers faces.
I also loved receiving the feedback from you too, I love how vocal you all are, because this truly helps me grow the MamMaw brand making it bigger & better, so thank you.
Please continue to let me know what else you would like to see here at MamMaw, email your suggestions directly to me at: shantel@mammaw.com
We were also selling amazing Kente cloth large purses available for only £15, for more Ankara styles regularly visit our online store MamMaw.com for the latest in African patterns & Ankara styles.
Overall I really enjoyed the vibe of the event, there was a DJ playing a LIVE SET spinning some tuuuuunes!
Keni Burke’s “Keep Rising to the top”
Erykah Badu’s “Back in the Day”
Beres Hammond’s “Tempted to touch”
and Robin Thicke’s “Lost Without you”
There were amazing smells of delicious foods from Perfect taste catering such as rice & peas, callaloo, steam fish, & jerk chicken plus the portions were proper, I couldn’t even eat it all I actually ate half for lunch & half for dinner, all this for just £6.00 my belly was happy.
#NHLE2016 was very positive & up lifting it reminded me of when I was a child listening to my parents play some good soul music on a Sunday afternoon while smelling the Sunday dinner throughout the house it truly was nourishment for my soul uplifting me on many levels.
I was happy to see so many independent local businesses providing unique niche products & services in hair & beauty, food, accessories & fashion, there was even a Hair Zone where customers could get their hair done there & then at the event by experience hair stylist’s such as JoLocs & shar_33.
#NHLE2016 was not only in its 3rd year but also hosted the historic first ever “Ms Natural Hair UK”, the audience had the chance to vote for the winner of the London Heats to go forward to the finals, Congratulations to London heats winner @official_bashiyra
I want to say a big thank you to @consciousvibes for putting on such a good event, I look forward to next year’s event being bigger & better.
Stay Beautiful
