MAMMAW'S AFRICAN BOUTIQUE AT AFRICA UTOPIA | Shop Latest Ankara Designs & Recycled Jewellery
MamMaw's African Boutique showcased its vibrant African fashion collection at Africa Utopia 2016 at the Southbank Centre. Their pop-up shop was set in a gorgeous airy space with tall windows and wooden floors.
Customers happily shopped for African print fashion and jewellery made from natural and recycled materials, including fruit seeds, polished stones, raw glass, recycled plastic, and wood.
The event also featured a diverse range of performances and interactive workshops, including classical music from the Chineke orchestra, book readings by Leila Boulela, and African dance workshops. Maame Adjei, from "An African City," was part of a panel discussing contemporary African fashion. The Mandela Trilogy, an epic operatic tribute to Nelson Mandela's life, was also a highlight. Attendees were encouraged to share their thoughts about Africa Utopia and how it exceeded their expectations.
